I think it's fan-bloody-tastic you were able to feel the tranquility of the scenery with these pics, cos it was indeed a very peaceful time. They were taken through several days, while waiting for the ferry boat off the island into the city, at a bit late hour, so the crowds were gone, the company was nice and I was absolutely mesmerised by this sunset.
Each day we'd sit quietly for a while, sun burnt, worn out, covered in sand and we'd wait for the ferryboat to come, sharing a fag and the beauty of that bonding time, silently. Special days these were indeed and talking about it has made me yearn for them again...
Oh, well, nevermind, plenty more to come. |
